This is your weekly MUSIC DEPARTMENT update!
Hello Folks!
Just another regular week in paradise!
As we enter September, there are two big things I want to draw your attention to:
Rehearsals move to 4pm to 7pm starting the week of September 12th to help us have daylight at the end of rehearsals, since sundown is earlier later in the year.
The rehearsal that would have been on Tuesday, September 13th is now on Monday, September 12th.
Please keep these two items in mind!
We need band parents to volunteer for the band concession stand for this Friday!

Things to Note 🎵:
AWAY vs. Richmond Hill
Our first away game this year will take place on a SATURDAY instead of a Friday. Please make a special note that SATURDAY, September 10th will be our away game to Georgia. Pending approval from the school district and other necessary parties, we will travel and plan to perform our halftime show there. This game does not take place on campus at Richmond Hill HS, rather, the game will be in Brunswick, GA.
Trailer Needed
We are in search of any band parents who own an enclosed trailer who wouldn't mind helping us take items to away games and competitions on an as needed basis. If this is something you might be interested in, please email me at myles.moore@bakerk12.org.

By the way, I base birthday announcements on what I can see on the Band App, so if you would like to be recognized for your birthday on the weekly announcements, please make sure your Birthday is set to PUBLIC on the Band App.
