This is your weekly MUSIC DEPARTMENT update!
Hello Folks!
I can't believe it's almost spring break!
I'd like to put out a HUGE thank you to those Parents and Students who went out on Saturday and sold Hotdogs in front of Ace Hardware! A little over $1000 was raised in one day, which is spectacular!
Please note that the Wind Ensemble Trip to FSU on April 12th has been cancelled. Transportation to FSU is not available. I'm sorry, kiddos. I tried really hard to make it happen.
Percussion clinics begin this week! If you are planning on being a part of next year's percussion, you should come!
Please also note that a mandatory meeting for all parents and students going on the Universal Trip has been added on Monday, April 25th at 6:30pm.
Please take a sec to check the calendar for the two weeks after Spring Break. I have update the rehearsal schedule to accommodate for State and Prism. I know that the rehearsal schedule is now quite busy considering everything going on, but I'm limited on options if we want to try to preserve the quality of those respective performances. Students (Especially Wind Ensemble during the Week of State) please work to plan ahead so we can be available all together to take advantage of those rehearsals.

Leadership Book 2022
If you are interested in Leadership, you will need to purchase the book "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" by Sean Covey. Every year, Leadership uses a text to learn to understand leadership concepts. Leadership Mondays begin on Monday, March 7th from 3pm to 5pm. Students must attend all Leadership Mondays to be considered for a position.
