Hello Folks!
Congratulations to Wind Ensemble for earning Straight Superiors at District 4 Concert MPA!
Also, congratulations to Evan Harris for earning a Superior rating for Student Conductor!
Wind Ensemble: This means you qualify for State Concert MPA at the University of Florida. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR NOW-- WE WILL PLAN TO PERFORM ON FRIDAY, APRIL 25TH. The Calendar has also been updated to include on additional rehearsal on 4/15. Please make sure your conflicts are cleared by then. We need everyone so we can push forward!
It may be tempting to 'phone it in' this last week before Spring Break, but I encourage you to press on, as our work is not done!

Weekly Walkthrough
Monday, we have a Leadership Monday from 3pm to 5pm. Afterward, at 6:30pm there is a band booster meeting.
Tuesday, Symphonic Band has the Pre- MPA Concert! Call Time is 4:00pm. We will rehearse briefly with percussion. Please make sure your concert attire is ready to go! This should be a relatively short concert-- BCHS Symphonic Band, BCMS Symphonic Band, and BCMS Concert Band perform.
Wednesday, the Jazz Rhythm Section has a jam session with me until 3pm.
Thursday, we have Large Ensemble Sectionals (Student Led) from 2:45pm to 3:30pm. We also have Wind Ensemble rehearsal from 4pm to 6pm.
Friday, Jazz Ensemble has a rehearsal from 1:40pm to 4pm.

Scholarships! Please Read!
Each year the Baker County Band Boosters offer a Senior Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 and a Summer Music Camp Scholarship in the amount of $150.00. Those applications are now available. If you have any questions about either scholarship, please don't hesitate to reach out. Application deadline is April 1, 2025.
Commitment Night!
Band Commitment Night is on April 18th, 2025! All students (and their parent[s]/ guardian[s]) who intend to be a part of the High School Band for the 2025-26 School Year need to be in attendance!
