This is your weekly MUSIC DEPARTMENT update!
Hello Folks!
It is MPA Week! Wow!

It will be very important that we work hard and diligently this week. Please remember the importance of the concept of sacrifice to be successful. What must you sacrifice for the benefit of your team?
Whatever happens this week, I love you and am proud of all of you. Let's focus on making as much music as we can this week.
Monday, the Mandatory Auxiliary Meeting starts at 6pm. This is for anyone interested in being a part of next year's Dance Team, Majorette Team, or Colorguard Team. If there are any groups that wish to use the time from 2:30pm to 6pm for sectionals, it is allowed.
Tuesday, is Symphonic Band Dress Rehearsal from 3pm to 6pm. The term "Dress" rehearsal means that this is our last rehearsal before Music Performance Assessment on Saturday. It does not mean you need to come to rehearsal in concert attire.
Wednesday, is the deadline for the Band Boosters summer music camp scholarship. It is not hard at all to apply, and I highly recommend this for anyone thinking about doing a music camp over the summer! If you want more info, talk to me or Mrs. Luke!
Thursday, is Wind Ensemble Dress Rehearsal from 3pm to 6pm. The term "Dress" rehearsal means that this is our last rehearsal before Music Performance Assessment on Saturday. It does not mean you need to come to rehearsal in concert attire.
Friday, there are no after school activities, but the band room closes at 3:00pm.
Saturday, we have Music Performance Assessment! Both members of Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble need to report to the Band Room at 6:30am. We will leave at 7am. Bring $$$ for lunch at Oaks Mall.
