This is your weekly MUSIC DEPARTMENT update!
Hello Folks!
I just CANNOT believe we're already at the end of this school year! Even though we have kept ourselves crazy busy, the time has just flown by. Now we are about to play our seniors across the stage as they get ready to march on to the next big chapter in their lives! I think everyone would do well to reflect on the seniors graduation from our program, and think about how one or more of our seniors may have impacted your life. This group of seniors definitely had a huge impact on our program, and for that I am truly grateful. Hats off to you!
If you haven't already seen-- Wind Ensemble/ Symphonic Band results for next year have been posted. If you are in Wind Ensemble and are interested in ALSO learning a second instrument in Symphonic Band, please come see me for a "Golden Ticket".
If you are interested in being a part of next year's Jazz Band, come see me this week. Generally, Jazz Band is reserved only for students in Wind Ensemble, but (just a thought), if enough people indicated they wanted to be in Jazz Band, it might justify a second Jazz Band Class! Wouldn't that be cool?
Now we're getting ready to close out the school year, so here is some information about next year's marching band. Everyone should read up!
