Hello Folks!
It’s a Concert Week! There’s a lot to do in not a lot of time! (But you knew that already, right?)
We are trying a new system of offering tickets to limit seating as we still wish to be cautious about COVID-19. If you have not already, rsvp at the following website: https://www.bakercountybands.org/events
The concert will also be available virtually.
Please be considerate when rsvp’ing. Taking more than two spots might mean other music department members may not be able to bring their family to watch them.

BCMS Christmas Concert- December 15th- 5:30pm
Glue Crew Dinner- December 11th (I need to reschedule!)
Music Department Christmas Party- December 17th- 3pm to ~6pm
Rehearsals:
Chorus After School Rehearsal- December 7th – 3pm to 5pm
Dress Rehearsal- December 8th:
· Wind Ensemble: 3pm to 5pm
· Symphonic Band: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Performances:
Home for the Holidays! The BCHS Christmas Concert- December 10th- 4:30pm Call Time (Concert Begins at 6:30pm)
Wind Ensemble Attire
Men- I need to apologize up front because I realize now this is not in the Band Handbook— however, in addition to your tux shirt and pants, you need to purchase this vest as a part of your concert attire. Ladies- if you haven’t already, you need to purchase your Corelli Dress from Southeastern Apparel. Do this soon so that in case there are any errors you can exchange your dress for the right size. At this time, the band is not planning to do a group order. Symphonic Band Attire
All members of symphonic band are expected to wear:
· Black Long Sleeve Button Down Dress Shirt
· Black Neck Tie (Men)
· Black Tuxedo Pants
· Black Dress Socks
· Black Dress Shoes
Most if not all these items can be purchased at Walmart or Amazon. If anyone has difficulty acquiring any of these items, please reach out to Mr. Moore immediately.
After School Activities This Week:
Monday
· Chorus After School Rehearsal- 3pm to 5pm
Tuesday
· Dress Rehearsal:
o Wind Ensemble: 3pm to 5pm
o Symphonic Band: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
o (Percussion Needed Throughout)
Wednesday
· No After School Activities
Thursday
· Home for the Holidays!: The BCHS Christmas Concert- 6:30pm
o Call Time: 4:30pm
o Section Responsibilities:
§ Drum Majors: Stage Managers + Helping in Respective Sections
§ Loading Crew: Stage Crew (Setting Chairs for Each Concert Ensemble silently during concert)
§ Woodwinds: Moving Cafeteria Tables
§ Brass: Setting/ Removing Chairs
§ Percussion/ Chorus: Stacking Band Chairs/ Stands and Equip for easy removal the next day.
Friday
· Glue Crew Dinner- Hey Glue Crew, I will need to reschedule this dinner with you guys for after we return from Christmas Break. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience!
