Hello Folks!
Just one week until Thanksgiving Break! I know we need it! Please continue to power through until the break! We still have two rehearsals this week, and then we lose a week because of the break but our concert will not relent. Please don’t stop practicing your music!
Don’t forget, the band has a brand new website! A lot of it is still under construction, but over time we hope to make it a hub for our band’s activities and more. The domain will change soon, but currently you can find it at: https://mylesmoore.wixsite.com/bakercountybands. Go check it out!

Solo and Ensemble
Attached to this email is information about Solo and Ensemble. Piece Selections are due November 30th. Members of Wind Ensemble will be required to prepare a Solo or Ensemble work. This year, the band will purchase ensemble pieces. Students who wish to perform solos must purchase their own or use what is already in the Band Library.

Wind Ensemble Attire
Men- I need to apologize up front because I realize now this is not in the Band Handbook— however, in addition to your tux shirt and pants, you need to purchase this vest as a part of your concert attire. Ladies- if you haven’t already, you need to purchase your Corelli Dress from Southeastern Apparel. Do this soon so that in case there are any errors you can exchange your dress for the right size. At this time, the band is not planning to do a group order. Symphonic Band Attire
All members of symphonic band are expected to wear:
· Black Long Sleeve Button Down Dress Shirt
· Black Neck Tie (Men)
· Black Tuxedo Pants
· Black Dress Socks
· Black Dress Shoes
Most if not all these items can be purchased at Walmart or Amazon. If anyone has difficulty acquiring any of these items, please reach out to Mr. Moore immediately.
