Hello Folks!
We're making good progress on our fundraiser, but we still have a ways to go!
Have you shared your store with everyone? It's a very low stakes fundraiser that many people like because it's such a great deal! Be sure to share it as much as you can! A HUGE thank you to all those parents and students who have been sharing the mess out of our fundraiser on social media already! I've seen plenty of posts on Facebook!
Also, Shout- Out to Sidnee for having the most sales! He's killin' it!
We didn't cross the threshold for anyone to win the $50 Amazon gift card this week... 😔, but this week is a new week! Let's get out there and SELL SELL SELL! This is the LAST WEEK of our Dominos fundraiser!
Weekly Walkthrough
Monday, we have Martin Luther King Jr. Day. No School!
Tuesday, we have an NFHB Rehearsal from 3pm to 5pm.
Wednesday, there are no after school activities scheduled.
Thursday, there is a Wind Ensemble Rehearsal from 4pm to 6pm. MONEY FOR SOLO AND ENSEMBLE IS DUE TODAY! Cost is $10 per Student per Solo/ Ensemble.
Friday, there is a Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal from 1:40pm (class start) to 4pm.

Things to Note 🎵:
Concert Band Camp
Both Concert Bands— there will be a Saturday rehearsal on February 1st from 10am to 3pm (with an hour lunch break) called Concert Band Camp. I’ll be working to have several clinicians to run sectionals with one band while another band is in full rehearsal with a clinician in the morning, and then ensembles switch after lunch. More details to come!
Rough Itinerary:
10am- Symphonic Band in Full Ensemble Rehearsal/ Wind Ensemble in Sectionals
12pm- Lunch (Hopefully Provided)
1pm-Wind Ensemble in Full Ensemble Rehearsal/ Symphonic Band in Sectionals

Solo and Ensemble
This year, if you'd like to take your Solo or Ensemble to MPA, it will cost $10 per student. For example, if Johnny is taking a Solo and an Ensemble, he owes $10 for the Solo and $10 for the Ensemble, so he needs to pay $20 in total. Solo and Ensemble money is due by THURSDAY, 1/23. This will also tell me who's going to S/E MPA and who's not.
Wind Ensemble to University of Florida- UPDATE
Due to a calendar conflict, this event is changing...... I will give you more info when I find out more. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Scholarships! Please Read!
Each year the Baker County Band Boosters offer a Senior Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 and a Summer Music Camp Scholarship in the amount of $150.00. Those applications are now available. If you have any questions about either scholarship, please don't hesitate to reach out. Application deadline is April 1, 2025.
