UF Band Day is a fun event where members of our band get to go to a University of Florida Football Game, play their instrument in the stands (not drums and tubas š¢) (read below), and PLAY ON THE FIELD DURING HALFTIME! It's truly an amazing experience!
ATTIRE: T-Shirt (provided at check-in), Khaki Shorts, Tennis Shoes (Closed Toe)
I'm sure percussionists and tuba players noticed my message above. UF Bands had this to say:
We are so sorry that those studentsĀ (DRUMS and TUBAS ) wonāt be able to have room for their instruments in the stands,Ā however, we will be seating all the drummers together (yikes!) in the front of the section next to the Gator Band,Ā and Tubas will sit in the rows immediately behind the Gator Band Tubas so they can have the TUBA EXPERIENCE!Ā
