District Solo & Ensemble MPA Itinerary

February 13th, 2026

We will Bus to Fort Clarke! Call time is early, so please plan accordingly.

If you'd like to be picked up from the venue, please be sure to fill out a permission slip from the Front Office.

I haven't received a director's packet to confirm if there are concessions yet, but plan for bring $$$ for concessions.

Percussion

We are awaiting information about the available percussion instruments. This will ultimately guide whether we take a trailer.

Instructions

• Avoid over-practicing. You should wait until about an hour before your performance to warm up. Use dead time to figure out where your judge room(s) is/are located.

• 10 minutes before it's your time to perform, go to the Baker County HS Solo and Ensemble box and grab your instruction sheet at the Original of your piece.

• 5 minutes before it's your time to perform, go to your judge room and wait outside the door. If Mr. Moore is available, he will try to follow you to make sure you're okay and watch you perform. If you don't want him to watch you perform, let him know so.

• After you perform, be sure to thank your judge.

• If your Original is YOURS (you purchased it) and you would like to KEEP it, then DO NOT put it back in the box. If you want to DONATE your msic, or if the music belongs to BCHS, then put it back in the box. All Originals left in the box will be claimed as property of the BCHS Band and labeled as such.

Itinerary:

12:00pm- Call Time at BCHS

12:15pm- Bus Leaves

Approx 1:00pm- Arrive at Fort Clarke MS; Various Solos/ Ensembles Warm Up/ Perform (You may wish to bring $$$ but I am still waiting to find out if there are concessions).

Approx 9:30pm- Leave Fort Clarke MS (It's going to be a LONG day, but there's not much I can do about that. As previously stated, bring $$$, and consider bringing a book, portable chargers, portable games, cards, homework, or other things to help you stay busy and out of trouble during dead time.)

Approx 10:30pm- Arrive at BCHS
