This is your weekly MUSIC DEPARTMENT update!
Hello Folks!
Wow, I can’t believe we’ve finished the Prism Concert. We received so many complements from attendees, AND we made over $1000 from combined VIP ticket sales and concessions! All in all, I’d say that the concert was a complete success! 😊 Congratulations to all, and especially to our Seniors who worked so hard for that moment! I’m proud of all of you!
What’s next?? Well, this week is pretty slow. We will be looking at Pomp and Circumstance for graduation, and we will also begin relearning how to march and attacking our warm ups.
Leadership candidates will be submitting their Applications by this Saturday at 5pm. (Late applications will not be accepted.) On May 3rd we’ll have our Band Captain election and we’ll also do voting for Band Superlatives.
On May 4th is the 2021 Band Parent Meeting. Please Note that this is the annual parent meeting to set the expectations for next year’s band. We also will be discussing important dates, band camp, pre-registration, and marching season. Parents and Students need to plan to attend.
