This is your weekly MUSIC DEPARTMENT update!
Hello Folks!
Congratulations once again on a wonderful Christmas Concert! We received lots of praise from our community!
Shout out to the Jazz Band for their two weekend performances! I think we did great at both, and it was a good venture both for community outreach and fundraising purposes!
All in all, I think we can all agree that the past few weeks were stressful but, if we put a smile on even one person's face, then it's all worth it,
The Band as a whole finally gets to have some rest, which I'm sure will be much appreciated. You certainly have earned it. There are no after school activities this week EXCEPT for our Music Department Christmas Party! Chorus has a performance on Friday, so please cheer them on!
We WILL be playing this week in class as we are working to establish our MPA Repertoire, so please do not forget your instruments in all bands this week.
The Music Department Christmas Party
The Music Department Christmas Party is this Thursday from 2:30pm to 5:00pm. Please sign up to bring a holiday dish HERE! Also, don't forget to bring your present (valued at no more than $15 and school appropriate) so that you can participate in our annual White Elephant Gift Exchange! It'll be a lot of fun!
Note: we will have to clear out right at 5:00pm as the Middle School Christmas Concert is also this evening.

According to Band App, there are no birthdays this week.... but it appears I missed a Birthday last week! Whoops! 😅
