Congratulations to the 2024-25 Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Bands

Congratulations to the 24-25 Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Bands! It's going to be an exciting year, and we have high hopes for both concert ensembles! Please make sure to review the below information about Marching Band.

Results are based on music ensemble audition performance, performance/ behavior/ attendance throughout the year, individual player strengths (as observed throughout the year), and Mr. Keel's feedback/ observations for 8th graders. Be aware that tapering down Wind Ensemble's size to bring more balance in strength to both ensembles was an added priority this year. Wind Ensemble has shrunk from 42 players to 30, and Symphonic Band has grown from 19 to 22 (and this number is expected to continue grow dramatically with doublers and a few missing auditions).

If your name doesn't appear on either roster and you intend to be in a concert band, simply send me an email. Instrumentalists only playing percussion will not appear on either roster. No one is being removed from band due to their audition.

These rosters are still subject to change, and players can still be moved based on performance and attendance between now and through Marching Season.

If you earned placement in Wind Ensemble and are interested in learning a new instrument in Symphonic Band as well, please fill out the form HERE. Everyone in Wind Ensemble is encouraged to learn a second instrument in Symphonic Band! The more the merrier! Symphonic Band needs Trumpets, Horns, and Alto Saxophones the most.
